Aloha Ride

Today, Ernest`s son Allan runs the ranch which has grown to 3,000 acres, with 300 head of cattle and 50 horses. The breathtaking trail ride across an actual working cattle ranch will be a journey that will never be forgotten. Ride with Mendes to experience an unforgettable journey through Maui`s most spectacular views on Horseback! The journey begins at the Mendes Ranch Corral where you are greeted by real Paniolo`s. Canter up rolling pastures into the lush rain forest and gaze down into Eki Crater to view some of Maui`s largest waterfalls. The narrated tour then continues down the mountain where you will see Hawaiian taro patches and plantation homes. The trail continues down along Waihe`e Valley through the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean where we will be glad to take a picture of you on horseback with the Majestic seascape as a background. The AM ride starts at 8:30 and the PM starts at 12:30 and both trips are 2 to 2 1/2 hours long and includes refreshments.
