The Cabin Ride

We depart at 9:00 am from the House of the Sun Visitor Center-elevation 9423 feet. Check in time is at 8:30am, return time approximately 3:30pm. This is a 12 mile horseback ride from the summitt of Haleakala to Kapalaoa Cabin and return. Your tour includes a continental breakfast upon arrival at the summit and a sit down lunch at Kapalaoa Cabin (choose one: Roast Beef, Turkey, Ham or Vegi with Swiss or Cheddar Cheese or Peanut/Butter Jelly Sandwiches). Clients are provided with windbreaker jacket/pants and gloves. We ask that you dress warmly and wear closed toed shoes. Tennis shoes are acceptable. Hats, sunglass and camera are recommended, sun block is a must. Weight limit is 250lbs.
